| DAY BY DAY ITINERARY |
Day 1. USA - Egypt, Cairo. Depart the USA via Egypt Air non-stop flight to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast on board. Airport security "requires" one form of government issued photo ID and 2 hours check-in prior to domestic flights departure. International travel requires a valid passport and 3 hours check-in prior to departure. Visa required.
Day 2 Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International airport, our local representative will escort you through the airport formalities. Then you will be chauffeured to your hotel and assisted with check-in. Group welcome dinner.
Day 3. Cairo. (Optional: Special private group visit, by government permission, inside the Great Pyramid. You may have two hours inside the Great Pyramid when it is closed to the public.) Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Memphis to see the Alabaster Sphinx and Ramses II's statue. On to Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid built by Zoser I in 2686. (Optional: Private group mediation at the Sakkara Healing Complex.) Afternoon: visit The Great Pyramids (here transformation into full 6th chakra). Visit the mighty Sphinx and Solar Boat Museum. (Optional: Ride into the desert on a camel or Arabian horse (your choice) for an awe-inspiring view of the three Pyramids.) Observe the ancient art of making papyrus into paper at a papyrus gallery. Stop at local bazaar on hotel. Necropolis and Sakkara Pyramids - where the use of sound (throat chakra) is said to have been taught for healing physical, mental and spiritual bodies. Day 4. Cairo. Breakfast at hotel. A visit to Egyptian Museum provides you with an to ancient Egyptian history. Visit Old Jewish, Coptic and Islamic Cairo. The oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, the Hanging Church, and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, and the Citadel. (Optional: Private group silent meditations.) Enjoy a walking tour of Khan El Khalili bazaars.
Day 5. Cairo / Abu Simbel. Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Drive to Abu Simbel. Arrive, and visit Abu Simbel temples, with its four 65 foot high figures of Ramses II. Hotel check-in. (Private group meditation at the Shores of Lake Nasser.) Dinner. (Optional: The Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel Temples.
Day 6. Abu Simbel / Aswan / Nile Cruise. Chance to watch, and to enjoy the magnificent sunrise at the temples. (Optional: Private group sunrise meditation.) Breakfast. Transfer to Abu Simbel airport. Flight to Aswan. Arrive Aswan and transfer to board your Nile Cruise. Lunch on board ship. Sail around Elephantine and the Kitchener's Islands in a Nile felucca before returning to cruise ship for afternoon tea. (Optional: The Sound and light Show At Philae Temple.) Dinner.
Day 7. Aswan / Kom - Ombo / Edfu. Breakfast. Visit Aswan High Dam. Then a short boat ride to the Philae Temple. (Optional: Private group meditation: Confront the higher Self within first chakra.) Stop at the enormous unfinished obelisk. Sail to Kom-Ombo. Lunch on board. Visit Temple of two Gods: Haroeris and Sobek. Sail to Edfu. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board. Educating the higher Self in victory over the lower self [2nd chakra].
Day 8. Edfu / Esna / Luxor. Breakfast. Visit the best Temple of Horus. Sail to Esna. Lunch. Pass through Esna lock as we sail to Luxor. Dinner.
Day 9. Luxor. Breakfast. Today, on the Nile West Bank, you will see the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Explore the Valley of the Kings and Queens, where tombs of 64 pharaohs and 57 queens have been discovered, open on a rotating basis to protect their fragile from wear and moisture. Visit among those open. (Optional: Visit the tombs of King Tut and/or Queen Nefertari. Lunch. Visit the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, which took over 1500 years to build and is considered the world's largest religious complex. (Optionsl: Private group meditation - third level [solar plexus] seat of astonishing power.) Then tour the Temple of Luxor - modeled upon man himself, it prepared the initiate to be a custodian of earthly energies. Private group meditation. Dinner. (Optional: The Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.
Day 10. Nile Cruise / Luxor. Breakfast. Disembark Nile cruise. A special visit to Dendera - with its "reserved zodiac ceiling" and a potent healing center. Next is ABYDOS. Beneath its haunting Temple of Seti 1 is the extraordinary OSIRION, an architectural / engineering aberration quite unlike any other site known in Upper Egypt. Private group meditation. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 11. Luxor / Cairo. Breakfast. Morning at leisure. PM transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive Cairo, and check-in at your hotel. (Optional: 3 hour Nile Cruise.)
Day 12. Cairo / USA. Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Arrive New York City same day.
