| Day 2 Cairo |
Upon arrival in Egypt, you will be met by our representative and escorted through customs formalities. Then you will be chauffeured to your hotel and assisted with check-in. |
| Day 3 Cairo |
Today drive to Memphis to see the Alabaster Sphinx and the status of Ramses II. On to Sakkara and see the Step Pyramid built by Zoser in 2686. Afternoon visit to the Pyramids, Sphinx, and the Solar Boat Museum. Observe the ancient art of making papyrus into paper at a papyrus gallery. Stop at local bazaar on your way to your hotel. |
| Day 4 Cairo |
The Egyptian Museum provides you with an introduction to ancient Eygptian history. Visit Old Jewish, Coptic and Islamic Cairo, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, the Hanging Church and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Enjoy a walking tour of Khan El Khalili bazaars. |
| Day 5 Cairo/ Lake Nasser Cruise |
Upon your arrival, transfer and board Nile cruise ship. Visit the Kalabsha Temple with its pharaonic aspects, which was remodeled into the Greco-Roman style and dedicated to God Mandoulis. Visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses II in the beginning of his reigh. Visit the Kiosk of Kertassi, erected to honor the Goddess Isis. |
| Day 6 Cruise |
Sail to Wadi El Seboua. |
| Day 7 Cruise |
Visit Wadi El Seboua Temple, dedicated by Ramses II to two Gods: Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis. Visit the Temple of Dakka - dedicated to Thos - the god of divine wisdom. Also visit the Temple of Meharaka. Sail to Amanda. Visit the Temple from the XVIIth dynasty and the hemi-speos of Derr and the Tomb of Penout (Viceroy of Nubia). Then sail to Kasr Ibrim. |
| Day 8 Cruise |
Visit the citadel of Kasr Ibrim - sole vestige of Nubia's distant past. Explanation will be given from the sundeck of the ship, as entrance to the site is not permitted. Sail to Abu Simble and visit the temples with the four 65-foot statues of Ramses II. Tonight, enjoy a candlelight dinner overlooking the temples. |
| Day 9 Aswan / Nile Cruise |
Chance for sunrise visit to the temples. Disembark and transfer to board your Nile Cruise Ship. Sail around Elephantine Island and the Kitchener's Botanical Gardens before returning to the cruise ship. |
| Day 10 Aswan / Kom-Ombo / Edfu |
Visit the Aswan High Dam, then take a short boat ride to the Temple of Philae and stop at the enormous unfinished obelisk. Sail to Kom-Ombo to see this temple dedicated to the two gods Haroeris and Sobek. |
| Day 11 Edfu / Esna / Luxor |
Morning visit to the best preserved Temple of Horus. Sail to Esna. Visit the Khnum Temple (the ram-headed potter god). Pass through Esna lock as you sail to Luxor. |
| Day 12 Luxor |
On the West Bank of the Nile, you will see the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Explore the Valley of the Kings and Queens where tombs of 64 pharaohs and 57 queens have been discovered (open on a rotating basis to protect their fragile surfaces from wear and moisture). Visit among those open. Visit the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple. It is a huge complex built over a period of 2000 years. Then tour the Temple of Luxor. Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel. |
| Day 13 Cairo / Alexandria |
Drive north to the city of Alexandria where you will have an intriguing day. Visit Qait Bay, the Catacombs of Kom-El-Shukjafa, and Pompay's Pillar, the Roman Amphitheater, and the Greco-Roman Museum, as well as the Montazah Palace. |

Transfer to the airport. |
