Upon arrival in Egypt, you will be met by our representative and escorted through customs formalities. Then you will be chauffeured to your hotel and assisted with check-in. |
| Day 3 Cairo |
Visit Memphis, Sakkara, the Pyramids, Sphinx, and Solar Boat Museum. |
| Day 4 Cairo |
Visit the Egyptian Museum, Coptic suspended church, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, and Salah-El-din's Citadel. Tour Khan El Khalili bazaar. |
| Day 5 Cairo/ Lake Nasser Cruise |
Upon your arrival in Aswan, transfer to cruise ship. See Kalabsha Temple, which is dedicated to the god Mandoulis. Visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. |
| Day 6 Cruise |
Sailing through Lake Nasser to Wadi El Seboua. |
| Day 7 Cruise |
Visit the Temple of Wadi El Seboua, dedicated to the two gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis. Also visit the Temple of Dakka, dedicated to Toth. Visit the Temple of Meharaka and the Amanada Temple. Visit the hemi-speos of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising Sun. See the Tomb of Penout. |
| Day 8 Cruise |
Visit the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim. Explanation is done from the ship's sundeck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Sail to Abu Simbel. Tonight, enjoy a candlelight dinner overlooking the temples. |
| Day 9 Cruise / Cairo |
Today, you may want to take advantage of the beautiful sunrise shots over the Temples of Abu Simbel. Disembark. Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel. |
| Day 10 Cairo |
Transfer to the airport. (You may wish to add an 8 day adventure in Kenya to this tour.) |
