| Day 2 ATHENS |
See the House of Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Theater of Dionysus, Philopappus Hill, Odeion of Herods Atticus, he Acropolis, The Parthenon, The Erectheum, Temple of Athens (Wingless Victory), the Forum and the Theseum. | |
| Day 3 ATHENS - DELPHI |
Drive thru Thebes, Levadia and Arachova to Ancient Delphi (Home of The Oracles). Visit the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo where the Oracles held court. Visit the Castalia Spring and the famed bronze statue "The Charioteer". | |
| Day 4 ATHENS - CORNITH - MYCENAE - EPIDAURUS |
Drive the coastal road to Corinth to visit the ancient Pleasure Palaces. On to Mycenae, thought to be the scene of the tragedies of Agamemnon and Electra. See the Lionesses Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. Depart for the sea and the lovely port of Nauplia. After Lunch, on to Epidaurus, perhaps the world's first health spa. | |
| Day 5 - 6 ATHENS |
Take advantage of the many optional tours available. Explore the beaches along the Saronic Gulf. Stroll thru the Flea Market in Plaka which is ideal for shopping. Take a cable car to the top of Mt. Lycabettus. | |
| Day 7 ATHENS - PIRAEUS - CRUISE |
Late morning transfer to Piraeus to begin your 3-Day cruise to the Greek Islands. Sail to the magic island of Mykonos, called the " Capri of the Aegean". Dock in the evening, greeted by quaint windmills, white washed houses. Time to discover nightlife before sailing. | ![]() |
| Day 8 RHODES |
Mid morning arrival in Rhodes. Optional sightseeing takes in all the sights, or take a trip to the beautiful town and Acropolis of Lindos. Aboard ship tonight, a lively Greek taverna dinner with Zorba like dancing. | |
| Day 9 KUSADASI (EPHESUS) |
According to legend, it was built by the Amazons in the year 2000 B.C. Site of the great Temple of Diana (Artemis) one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Visit the Theater, The Agora. See the Cathedral of St. John and the Temple of Serapis. PATMOS - An island of extraordinary beauty, rich in Christian tradition and biblical history. It was here that St. John the Evangelist wrote the "Apocalypse" while in exile. | |
| Day 10 PIRAESUS - ATHENS |
Your tour ends when you disembark at Piraeus in the morning. Then a short transfer to Athens airport for your departure flight. | |
